The Great Acorn Mystery
Paka the Alpaca was munching on a leaf when he heard a crunch in the bushes. He looked up, squinting through his black sunglasses, and gasped. “Where’s my acorn?!” he cried. It had been his favorite snack, and now it was gone.
Paka ran through the forest, calling out, “Hey, anyone seen my acorn?” The trees whispered, the birds chirped, but no one had seen it. Just then, Tony the Turtle popped out of a log. “You lost something?” he asked slowly.
“Yep! My acorn!” Paka said, hopping in place.
Tony tilted his head. “Maybe it’s hiding in the mud?” He scratched his shell. “Or maybe it’s with a friend?”
Paka frowned. “But who would take my acorn?”
Tony smiled. “Maybe it’s not a thief—it’s just lost. Let’s find it together!”
They followed a trail of tiny footprints and found the acorn buried under a mushroom. Paka dug it up, happy tears in his eyes.
The Lesson of Sharing and Searching
Paka realized that sometimes things go missing, but with friends and a little help, they can always be found. And maybe, just maybe, the acorn had a new friend waiting to share it.
